Comparative analysis of the concepts of "husband" and "wife" in Russian and Chinese

The purpose of the study is a comparative analysis of the concepts of "husband" and "wife" in Russian and Chinese, identifying similarities and differences. The scientific novelty of the study is that it is the first time that the concepts of "husband" and "wife" are studied in a comparative aspect in relation to Russian and Chinese linguistic cultures on the material of the paroemias of these languages. As a result of the conducted research, it was revealed that there are similarities and differences in the interpretation of the semantics and connotations of the concepts "husband" and "wife" in these linguistic cultures. The similarity lies in the traditionally positive assessment of husband and wife as family members. The differences relate to the more significant role of the wife in Chinese linguoculture, the greater importance for the Chinese of the relationship of spouses with parents, etc
