The history of the identification of the Nuzal Temple

The article is devoted to a general overview of the history of the identification of the Nuzal Temple – an outstanding religious and cultural-historical monument of medieval Alanya. Based on the review of literature XVIII–XXI century the historiographical periods of its study are highlighted. The dynamics of determining the nature and original purpose of the temple is traced.
