Formation mechanisms of ideologemes

The article clarifies the difference between two types of ideologemes – primary and secondary, and also analyzes their main formation mechanisms on the example of the most typical ideologemes in Russian and Chinese. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the forming mechanisms of the two types of ideologemes are different: the primary ideologemes are based on word-formation models and eponyms, while the secondary ideologemes are formed by tropes, euphemization and symbolization.
