Pecularities of English headlines translation into Russian

The article is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic features of English-language headlines of electronic Media and translation techniques that can be used in the process of translating headlines into Russian. English Media headlines containing abbreviations, idioms, cultural references and language devices may cause difficulties for understanding. The classification of grammatical, lexical and stylistic features of Media headlines made it possible to identify the general and special features in the methods of translation for the solutions of the translation problems.
