The article is devoted to the analysis of the process of word creation by V. Mayakovsky and I. Severyanin, which reflects the specifics of the picture of the world of the era of revolutionary reorganization, which is realized in various forms of human behavior and the results of this behavior, in particular, literary texts. An individual picture of the world can be explicated through artistic creativity and word creation as well. Based on a comparative analysis of occasional linguistic means chosen by word creators in accordance with the intention, similarities and differences are revealed in the organization of the conceptual and linguistic models of individual worldviews of linguistic personalities who sought to rethink values and change the world.
