APPLICATION OF CHOPIN'S WORKS IN TEACHING PIANO PERFORMANCE TO MUSIC STUDENTS STUDYING PIANO (THE EXAMPLE OF ETUDES)

This article deals with the peculiarity of Frédéric Chopin's pedagogical principles related to the teaching of piano playing, which were innovative in their time. On the basis of the information received, the conditions of conducting and the very process of effective Chopin lessons have been studied. Active teaching methods related to the interpretation and presentation of musical material among piano students were also suggested. The etudes created by Frédéric Chopin were taken as an example. The peculiarities of teaching etudes by the Polish composer in Chinese institutions of higher education were discussed.
