LEXICOGRAPHIC ASPECT OF THE MODELLING STUDENT’S GLOSSARY IN THE MILITARY AREA OF EXPERTIZE

The article deals with the lexicographic basics of the student’s glossary development in the military area of expertize. It notes an important role of small scale learner’s dictionaries in mastering the “Foreign Language” discipline at the military institute. Educational and cultural potential of special dictionaries contributing to the enlargement of student’s terminological thesaurus and formation of comprehensive professional world view are emphasized. The main parameters of student’s glossary modelling are listed. The article also describes the main stages of work on the glossary of military terms, considers principal selection criteria of special vocabulary functioning in the texts of military communication, formulates the composition and contents of mega, macro and microstructure of student’s glossary.
