METHODS OF LINGUISTIC OBJECTIFICATION OF THE MEDIA CONCEPT "THE 1918 PANDEMIC" IN THE ENGLISH-LANGUAGE NEWSPAPER DISCOURSE

The purpose of this article is to perform the liguistic reconstruction of media concept «Pandemic 1918», based on the material of English-language newspapers of the period 1918-1920. It seems interesting to investigate and describe how the pandemic event was conceptualized and in which units it was verbalized in the previous century. In the process of work,the descriptive method, component analysis, conceptual and contextual analysis and the modelling method were used.
