MODERN MEDIA ENVIRONMENT FORMATION

In this paper, the authors consider the features of the formation of the modern media environment, the foundations of which are the processes of globalization and digitalization of the foundations of smart cities. The main definitions of the declared concept are presented. The high role of technical means contributing to the multiplication of information flows is indicated. It is shown that the modern media environment is not limited in time and space. The main properties of the modern media environment are clarified, including attractiveness, variability, interactivity, variability, immersiveness, coherence. It has been proved that media reality is capable of replacing objective reality and influencing the distortion of meanings and meanings perceived by the mass addressee. In conclusion, the authors summarize the results of the study.
