"BALANCE WHEEL" AS A DIAGNOSTIC TOOL OF LANGUAGE COACHING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES

The article reveals the concept of language coaching, its goals, objectives and tools. A step-by-step methodology of working with the "balance wheel" for language coaching is described in detail. The article provides the research re-sults on basic competencies level in English conducted with the students of Tyumen Industrial University technical majors via the "balance wheel" tool. Competences development quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out within each academic group. The methods on the competencies devel-opment improvement through the coaching approach were outlined.
