The use of modern means of distance learning is the most relevant topic in the modern educational world. When studying this issue, on the one hand, the problems of scientifically based application of modern information technology tools in the educational process come to the fore, on the other hand, the need for a reasonable choice of such tools based on their comprehensive assessment by experts: teachers and students. The purpose of the work is to study the theoretical foundations for building modern teaching tools using distance technologies and to analyze the practice of using such tools in the educational process.
