BIOMECHANICS OF SPIN TECHNIQUE IN FIGURE SKATING

The presented article describes the technique of performing rotations in basic positions from the point of view of biomechanics. This article can help to form an idea of what is happening during the preparation, entry and directly during the execution of the rotation. For coaching staff and athletes, this can provide real leverage to improve position quality and spin speed. These parameters are the main criteria for evaluating rotation.
