ABOUT THE VARIETY OF METHODS OF STUDYING THE WORLD PICTURE (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE CONCEPT "FEAST" IN RUSSIAN AND KOREAN)

The article deals with the question of the very concept of the linguistic picture of the world in its application to its various components, pays attention to the connection of the linguistic picture of the world with culture, linguistics and language as such, and also raises the question of various approaches of analysis for studying the linguistic picture of the world. The relevance is represented by the fact that in modern science much attention is paid to the intercultural relations of mankind, therefore, the study of these meanings is the subject of research. The novelty of the research lies in the analysis of various points of view in the interpretation of the linguistic picture of the world. The author examines each approach and defines this phenomenon, adhering to the traditional point of view, according to which the linguistic picture of the world is not only a product of individual, but also of collective consciousness. Particular attention is paid to the methods used to study the connections of the linguistic picture of the world with various bases, which consist of a wide range from traditional analysis to study through the analysis of linguistic units, including linguoculturological techniques and ethnolinguistics. The advantages and disadvantages of each of the above methods allow us to obtain a cumulative assessment of the concept of the linguistic picture of the world and its impact on culture, language and mentality.
