CULTURAL FEATURES OF VERBAL STRATEGIES OF CONSENT AND REFUSAL IN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE

This article is devoted to the comparison of cultural features of the expression of the communicative meaning of consent and refusal in Russian and Chinese. The purpose of the study is to compare cultural features, the specifics of speech etiquette involved in verbal strategies aimed at expressing consent and refusal in Russian and Chinese. The research is carried out using comparative and systematic methods, a corpus methodology is used to test the hypotheses put forward and illustrate the results obtained. Russian Russian and Chinese verbal expressions of consent are compared, and the author comes to the conclusion about the same semantic ways of expressing refusal and consent in Russian and Chinese. It is noted that the Russian language is characterized by a great emotionality of expressing consent or refusal, which is achieved through the use of discursive formulas in replicas with the appropriate meaning.
