PAREMIA WITH SOMATONYM "HAND" AS A SOURCE OF ETHNOCULTURAL INFORMATION

The article deals with proverbs and sayings (paremias), which include the names of parts of the human body (somatonyms). The subject of the analysis is proverbs with the somatonym "hand", which are studied in order to identify ethno-cultural information. Somatic vocabulary is studied as a fragment of the national language picture of the world. The paper presents the semantic groups of proverbs with the lexeme "hand", characterizing the actions, state and feelings of a person, as well as the revealed cultural connotations of paremias, reflecting the basic principles of national perception, the realities of the outside world and general cultural attitudes.
