METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF COMMUNICATIVE-SITUATIONAL FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING FOR PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE STUDENTS

The article describes the methodological foundations of the technology of communicative situational teaching of a foreign language to students of a professional college. The application of this innovative way of organizing the educational process will create pedagogical conditions for the formation of the ability of intercultural communication, i.e. foreign language communication in a particular business area, taking into account the peculiarities of professional thinking. The basis of the technology is the speech learning situation, which is an artificially created by the teacher and students of the language environment. The author describes the didactic principles, means, organizational forms, pedagogical methods and techniques that allow in practice to implement the technology of communicative situational teaching of a foreign language. Thus, the educational process is a system of logically connected communicative situations corresponding to the following parameters of real communication: the activity nature of speech behavior; objectivity and situationality of communication, the availability of effective speech means. The use of the methodological foundations of the communicative-situational technology in the framework of teaching a foreign language in the SVE system is aimed at developing and improving not only speech, but also professional, as well as socio-cultural competence of students.
