THE STATE POLICY OF THE SOVIET GOVERNMENT IN RELATION TO THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH IN WESTERN SIBERIA DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR

In this article, the author compares the position of the Russian Orthodox Church (hereinafter ROC) in three regions of Western Siberia (Novosibirsk region, Omsk region, Altai Territory), during the Great Patriotic War (hereinafter WWII). In it, he says that, although the policy of the state in relation to the ROC in the country was the same everywhere, there were still differences in the regions, and the author focuses on them in his study.
