The study examines the features of the vocal coaching methodology in the preparation of vocalists in higher education organizations. As an advantage of coaching, the formation of motivation for obtaining professional competencies is highlighted. Vocal coaching provides ample opportunities for individualization of the pedagogical process. Initially, coaching is a means of non-formal education, therefore it is considered in the context of innovative pedagogical technologies.
