FOREIGN LITERATURE IN THE HISTORY OF BOOK CULTURE IN RUSSIA IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE 18TH CENTURY

The article examines the influence of foreign literature on Russian culture of the second half of the 18th century. The role of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the implementation of books is characterized. It is shown how the spreading Francophile led to an increase in the distribution of French books.
