FEATURES OF TEACHING THE BASICS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE MASTER'S PROGRAM "INTERNET OF THINGS IN EDUCATION"

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of teaching students the basics of artificial intelligence as part of their development of the master's program "Internet of Things in Education", implemented at the Institute of Digital Education of the Moscow City Pedagogical University. When studying disciplines related to the Internet of Things, it is necessary to be able to use artificial intelligence technologies, however, students enrolled in the master's program have different levels of training in this area. The authors see the solution to the problem in the fact that artificial intelligence training at the second stage of education should be more practice-oriented and rely more on the use of available technologies for the development of intelligent systems than on the study of artificial intelligence methods. This will not only prepare trainees for mastering special disciplines, but also ensure the solution of appropriate methodological tasks. As a tool for the development of intelligent systems, it is proposed to use the popular and powerful Python programming language, which has in its arsenal many additional software packages designed, in particular, for processing big data.
