USING WORKS OF ART TO DEVELOP EMPATHIC SKILLS AMONG STUDENTS IN RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES

This article reveals the methodology of working with works of art in order to develop empathic skills among students in Russian as a foreign language classes. The potential of using works of art of various types is substantiated, allowing the formation of empathic skills in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language, the educational aspect is analyzed from the point of view of the advantages of teaching Russian as a foreign language through various works of art, among which the following are considered: works of fiction, films, songs, works of visual art.
