SPEECH AGGRESSION IN THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE (BASED ON EMOTIVE CAUSATIVES)

The article deals with verbal aggression. Based on data from the National Corpus of the Russian Language and the Google Books, the functioning of the verbs “напрягать”, “заколебать”, “вымораживать” in the situation of causation of negative emotional modification is considered. The main findings of the study reveal the presence of emotive and causative semes in the analyzed units when used as slang. The verbs in question are negatively colored expressive lexemes. It is demonstrated using the contexts. The models of the functioning of the studied emotive causatives are constructed, demonstrating the actualization of intercategorial interaction of such functional-semantic categories as the category of intensity, instrumentality, temporality, and iterativeness.
