RESEARCH ACTIVITIES AS THE FACTOR OF PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF FUTURE OFFICERS

The article reveals the importance of research activities in the professional development of future officers at a military university. The analysis of modern research by scientists made it possible to identify the main content and areas of activity in the organized and managed process of professional and personal formation of future officers in the course of research work, as well as unresolved problems of this activity to date. The article analyzes the role and importance of research skills for the military professional activities of future officers; various approaches to defining the essence of the concepts of "skill", "general academic skills", "research skills" are considered, and different approaches to their classification are given. The purpose of the study was to substantiate the relevance of the process of forming the professional and personal formation of future officers in the course of research work, improving skills and abilities in research work. The authors came to the understanding that the formation and development of research skills is carried out effectively if certain pedagogical conditions are created: the development of positive motivation, cognitive and professional interest in research activities among cadets; the creation of an educational research environment at the university; the organization of joint research projects with university teachers; taking into account the specific features of professional training of military specialists; the orientation of the topics of research projects on the problems of military professional activity of cadets; the presence of a high level of formation of their educational and intellectual skills. circles of departments of the military university.
