ANALYSIS OF THE IMAGE OF ANIMALS IN EVENK FAIRY TALES

In the conditions of modern global world reconstruction, it is extremely difficult to preserve national identity. The article is about a unique folklore genre – the fabulous epic of the so-called small northern people, the Evenks. The author refers to the available classifications of folklore prose, and further, analyzing the consequences of cultural and historical diffusion, introduces a number of typical characters of the Evenki fairy tale: a dog, a fox, a snake, a bear and a deer. The author of the article supports the initiative of famous Tungusic scholars on the subject of careful preservation of original verbal art, since work of this kind will not only preserve monuments of spiritual culture, but will become an invaluable gift for future generations.
