Peculiarities of educational programme construction for masters of psychology

Teaching a foreign language to master’s of non-language specialities raises a number of challenges for lecturers who train specialists at an international standard level. In the article requirements to the qualification of masters are amply viewed according to Dublin descriptors and European Qualification Framework. It is shown that the innovative system of education in Russia opens new scopes, promotes more profound language learning, thereby contributing its efficiency and competitive abilities of graduates. The focus of the article is methodological approach and peculiarities of learning process organization for master’s degree. Objectively subsistent differences between bachelors and masters are viewed. Consequently, the result of successful mastering of a second-level programme is formation a professional competence of postgraduates. The role of a highly proficient teacher possessing new assessment methods is also highlighted. The author draws a conclusion that innovative system of Russian education is more preferable and profitable than the traditional five-year training of specialists.
