Poor Richards’s Almanack by B. Franklin: linguistic influence on American outlook

The article analyses the role and influence of B. Franklin’s literary and educational work. Namely, it considers Poor Richard’s Almanack as one of the cultural and linguistic factors that influenced the formation of national American outlook. The characteristic features of the latter are defined by comparing it with European and, in particular, Russian world view.
