State administration of Internet journalism activities in Vietnam

This article examines the main features of the Internet media in Vietnam. In this article, the author analyzes the policy of Vietnamese government in management journalists’ activities on Internet, as well as control over citizens’ access to online information in various countries. This particular area of research has so far been little studied by Vietnamese journalists. The author also studies the penalties applied by government to bloggers and journalists who offended the rules.
