Paradigmatica of the genitive in negative constructions with transitive and intransitive verbs (on the fiction and journalistic texts the second half of the XVIII century.)

In literary and journalistic texts of the second half of the XVIII century, in negative constructions with transitive verbs, forms ending in -y dominate in object-collective nouns of masculine gender. In similar syntactic environment, abstract nouns more often have the ending -a. In indirect transitive verbs, the form ending in -y is observed in colloquial set expressions. In intransitive verbs with negative meaning, nouns of all lexicological and grammatical groups are defined by the ending -a.
