Collaborative translation

The article deals with the research of the collaborative translation as one of the innovative methods of modern translation lingua-didactics. The authors present theoretical foundation of the collaborative translation, and also summarize the results of the net-project on translation of the scientific text. They suggest that during the process of the collaborative translation a new social-cognitive formation is self-organized. The main result of the research is the prove of the advantages of the collaborative translation as a method of translation acquisition at higher institutions; during this process a new collaborative translation competence is developed.
