Reforms of citizen legislation in first half of nineteenth century

The article deals with the main reforms of citizen legislation in the first half of the XIX century in Russia. In particular, the reform projects of Speransky and Balaklavsky, the Provisions of 1846, and the French organization of local citizen government during the occupation.
