Typology of sports TV programs of the Republic of Buryatia

The basis of television sports journalism is a sporting event and a genre variety of TV programs (news, broadcast and telecast). The main issues of sports TV journalism are located in the field of audience preferences and coverage of topics that poorly cover the state policy in the field of sports. There is an acute shortage of content and analytical materials on the ground. Federal and regional TV programs have similar problems, despite the different level of technical equipment and professional skills. Four republican sports TV programs often show stories about amateur and extreme sports, give time to children's sports, national kinds of competitions. But they continue to regard them as an information event, without stressing the disclosure of sports media communications.
