Characteristic problems and the development of pre-school education in China

since the XVII party congress, where the project "On the importance of preschool education" was presented, Chinese preschool education has received a new opportunity for development. There was a clear increase in the construction of kindergartens and educational institutions and the number of teaching staff. Nevertheless, in the process of its development the concept of preschool education lags behind, its scale of activity is relatively small, there is a very large gap in the activity of private and state kindergartens in the city and in the countryside, and the lack of funding, and the legislation in this direction is very weak. Therefore, in the further development of preschool education, it is necessary to fulfil the following five tasks: reform the concept of preschool education, and adhere to the principle of education "child-oriented"; to carry out the professional training of educators and pay attention to the development of educators; to reform the education with an emphasis on improving the quality of preschool education; pay attention to the accessibility of education and promote the harmonious development of pre-school education in the city and in the countryside; to create the current legislation for regulation of preschool education; focus on the role of legal regulation.
