The urgency of developing cultural knowledge (competency aspect)

The aim of the research is the theoretical ideas of the development of culturalogical knowledge and their application in teaching practice. According to the current standards of higher education graduate who have completed the undergraduate program should possess the cultural competencies which enables tolerant of ethnic and confessional differences in the team. Competence-based approach actualizes culturalogical knowledge in the modern world. The conception of linear and non-linear development is considered from the perspective of cultural determinism. Clarifying the theoretical position, the authors refers to the culturalogical practices.
