The Dagestan literature in the 80th years of the XX century: cultural and historical aspect

The article provides a description of the main trends in the development of Dagestani literature in the 80-ies of the XX century the work Purpose – analysis of the status and development of literature in the multinational Republic. It is noted that in the period under review the leading place in the Dagestan literature was occupied by poetry, the role of drama increased, the activity of Dagestan writers in writing scripts for movies was noted. The problematic issues in the development of literature in the DASSR are revealed. The contribution of Dagestan writers and artists to the national cultural process is shown.
