The participation of special vehicles of law enforcement agencies in road accidents undermines the foundations of confidence in the professionalism of the police. In order to improve the skills of using the SSU "paddywagon" developed a method of training drivers. The article presents an analysis of the pedagogical experiment of practical training in a specialized auto-polygon. Results and prospects of improvement of professional competences of drivers of safe management of transport of the avtozak series are shown.
