The article deals with the problem of improving the legal training of military medical specialists in the framework of additional professional education. Particular attention is paid to the expansion of the spectrum of independent activity of students, improving the level and quality of educational self-control, the introduction of innovative methods and techniques of development of legal competence, which determine the competitiveness and optimal adaptation in society as active military medical professionals and doctors who left military service.
