Features of education for sustainable development

In connection with global environmental threats modern society imposes new requirements on university graduates. Educational activities are changing qualitatively. The content of educational programs is transformed into a complex system of interdisciplinary knowledge, universal values and skills, demanded by the world community and determined by its requirements. Coordination of educational programs is aimed at fostering cultural and environmental learning. Socio-cultural potential of a foreign language plays an important role in training of socially responsible personnel of financial and economic profile and, therefore, contributes to sustainable development.
