Features of the formation of professional competence university students

The article is devoted to the problem of the formation of professional competence of university students. Professional competencies as the goal of higher professional education leads to the intensification of the educational process, to increasing the variability and flexibility of educational programs. There are innovative changes in the organization of the learning process, in the forms, methods and technologies of training. The content of the concepts of competence / competence is revealed from the point of view of their consideration as the goals of higher professional education. It is shown that in the conditions of a competency-based model of higher professional education, the conditions for the successful formation of professional competencies are contextual, personality-oriented, activity-based approaches and the principles of heuristic training.
