The concept of music and pedagogical culture of parents in children’s school of arts

The article actualizes the issue of attracting the educational potential of the family to participate in the musical education of children studying in children's art schools. The author considers this problem through awareness of the specifics of the musical and pedagogical culture of parents as a special kind of accompaniment of the child’s personality in the process of learning music. The article substantiates the importance of the musical and pedagogical culture of parents at the present stage of development of primary musical education. The concept of musical pedagogical culture is clarified from the perspective of the guiding role of parents.
