The article examines the situation on the Russian labor market in terms of bacherlors’ job opportunities and emphasizes the need to improve the adaptability of University training to the requirements of the labor market and changing economic conditions. The needs of the labor market are changing faster than the academic program. Students try to develop new skills demanded by employers. Modern universities provide students with the opportunity to participate in student conferences and competitions, which will help them realize their full potential and develop competitive skills, give them an advantage over other applicants and help succeed in achieving their professional and scientific goals.
