The development of the tourist and recreational industry in the system of modern school education

The article deals with the problem of the current state of the tourism and recreation industry in the school education system. The author approaches the analysis of this problem, based on the relationship of the development of tourism activities in schools end the general trends in the development of the tourism industry. The article shows the opportunities and prospects of institutions of general secondary education in the development of tourism and recreational activities with students. The author analyzes the development of ways, forms and methods of organizing tourist and recreational activities in various regions, identifies the ways of development of this industry in the school system of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. The article presents practical examples of the organization of tourist and recreational activities in schools from the standpoint of various tasks to be solved (educational, educational, research, etc.).
