Transformation of the lexical composition and means of expressiveness of the Russian language in the period after the revolution of 1917

The article deals with the theoretical and practical aspects of identifying expressive linguistic structures, analyzes the creation of imagery and emotionality using linguistic means using the example of journalistic texts. The author's scientific interest concerns the initial stage of the existence of the Soviet vocabulary immediately after 1917. The author examines in detail the main tendencies of the period under consideration: dearchaization, increased expressiveness, the emergence of neologisms, metonymization, etc. The author considered ten texts in the genre of a note in the "Krasnaya Gazeta" dated January 1, 1920 and made conclusions about the features of the transformation of the lexical composition and means of expressiveness of the Russian language in the period after the 1917 revolution.
