Formation of artistic and imaginative vision of schoolchildren in fine arts lessons

This article examines the problem of the formation of an artistic-figurative vision of schoolchildren in the art classes. The concept of thinking, artistic-figurative thinking is defined. It is noted that the skill in creating an artistic image helps to acquire knowledge, adds a personally significant character to it. The basis in the form of images allows you to transfer the acquired knowledge into emotionally rich, activating the imagination and creative potential of the individual. The solution to the problem is seen in the development of methods for teaching the fine arts, which will develop the ability to think figuratively, which will become the basis for the further harmonious formation of the student as a person. The analysis of psychological literature has shown that artistic-figurative thinking, using mainly the right hemisphere, gives the child the opportunity to comprehend the foundations of the visual arts reflected in works of art. The development of artistic and imaginative thinking contributes to the rapid assimilation of new information, memorization and develops the flexibility of thinking. In order to form an artistic-figurative vision of schoolchildren, a template for a lesson in drawing sketches and sketches of a person with various graphic materials is provided. The author comes to the conclusion that the product of artistic and imaginative thinking is an artistic image, which reflects the ability of a child's personality to highlight in the phenomena of the surrounding reality the ability to generalize, create a mental image and translate it into the language of fine art, which is essential for an artistic image. The main thing in the process of forming and developing the artistic-figurative vision of schoolchildren in fine arts lessons is to teach to see and perceive the model with the subsequent transformation of what he saw in order to create an artistic image.
