Motivation of teenagers aged 11-13 to play mini-football

The article is devoted to the study of motivation to play mini-football in adolescents aged 11-13 years. It is shown that the motivation of training and competitive activities determines the success of the training process. The concept of motivation of sports activity from the position of the activity approach is revealed. It is shown that motivation of sports activity is a system formation of the athlete's personality, which includes a number of motives and is characterized by a certain dynamics. The conclusion is made about the importance of developing a high level of sports motivation of young football players in terms of achieving high results of the training process. A study of sports motivation in young football players aged 11-13 years, depending on the effectiveness of training and competitive activities. Analysis of the motives of sports activity revealed the motivational profile in groups of football players with high and low levels of sports performance. The results showed that highly effective football players aged 11-13 years are distinguished by a high level of commitment to the success of their team, to sports improvement for successful performance in competitions and to maintain the prestige of the team. Football players with reduced effectiveness of sports activities are characterized by a predominance of social and emotional motivation associated with the emotional intensity of sports events in the process of playing sports.
