Professional education as a component of a successful public service

The article is devoted to topical issues in the context of the development of the institute of public service in Russia and increasing its efficiency The article gives the definition of civil service and its legislative characteristics. The author defines the main goals of the professional education of civil servants. The paper identifies the main tasks of training for a successful public service that can be set before an educational institution and draws conclusions about the need for professional education for each civil servant.
