Features of prevention of deviant behavior in children and adolescents

On the one hand, the socio-economic changes that have taken place in Russia over the past 30 years can be considered positive, they are mainly associated with the country's overall integration into the world community. On the other hand, these changes have brought about a large number of negative changes in Russian society. As a result, the prevalence of various forms of deviant behavior has increased, including among children and adolescents. In this regard, there is a need for the implementation of special work, the prevention of deviant behavior. These issues in Russia are now being dealt with by teachers and many specialists of the country's education system. The history of the issue of the prevention of deviant behavior begins at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. In this regard, in the first part of our article, we reviewed and analyzed the studies of foreign authors on this problem. The author presented the conclusions that were made as a result. The second part of the article is devoted to the description of activities for the prevention of deviant behavior in children and adolescents, which are currently being carried out in Russia. In the third part of the article, the author describes a questionnaire survey of teachers, psychologists and specialists involved in the prevention of deviant behavior in children and adolescents at the Center for Diagnostics and Counseling of Children and Adolescents (Kaliningrad, Russia), as well as a description of the questionnaire survey of children and adolescents participating in preventive measures.
