Studying the creativity of writers of the turn of the XX-XXI centuries in the school literature course for high school students

The article is devoted to the problem of studying modern literature at school. The school literature course includes literature of the turn of the XX - XXI centuries. However, the modern school very rarely uses examples of the latest prose for the moral and aesthetic education of students. In this article we will present a variant of studying Russian literature at the turn of the XX - XXI centuries on the example of the work of A.V. Gelasimov and his story "Tender Age". The choice is due to the fact that the creativity of A.V. Gerasimov is rarely considered in the educational process. To the creativity of A.V. Gelasimov's students apply in high school, when they are already prepared for the perception and interpretation of works of modern fiction that meets the needs of the younger generation, close to schoolchildren in terms of problems and topics, telling about the life of peers. As a rule, children read such works with interest, easily perceive and vividly discuss in the classroom.
