On the Theoretical Aspects of Innovative Educational Activities in Correctional Institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia

The article discusses the theoretical aspects of innovative educational activity in correctional institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, its stages, components, types. The subject of the scientific article is the theoretical aspects of innovative educational activities in correctional institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia. The purpose of the study is to reveal the essence of the phenomenon of innovative educational activity in correctional institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and to characterize it in possible projections. The methodological basis of the study was the system-structural method, analysis. As a result of the work carried out, the concepts of "innovation", "educational activity", "innovative educational activity" are considered, the stages, main components, types of innovative educational activity in the penal system are identified and characteristics are given. It is concluded that the stages, main components, types of innovative educational activities in the penal system are not just a set, but a higher-order education system. The characteristics of the components of this activity revealed the interaction and interrelation between them, which indicates the main feature of the structure of the considered innovative educational activity – integrity.
