Play activities in teaching English to preschoolers and primary schoolchildren

The article discusses the options for using the game in teaching preschoolers and primary schoolchildren. The relevance of the game is spelled out, examples of game classifications are given, the basic requirements for the game, and the functions of the game are described. Particular attention is paid to the organization of cognitive and developmental games for preschool children and the acquisition of play skills by children. Also, the emphasis is placed on organizing games for primary schoolchildren, which help develop interest and motivation for learning a foreign language in future.
