This article discusses the theoretical and applied aspects of building the process of sports training in departmental universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. The relevance of the article is related to the need for high requirements for the physical training of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which contributes to the improvement of motor activity. The influence of physical culture and sports on the capabilities of cadets of departmental universities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia during the training period, which allows selectively selecting means and methods of physical culture for subsequent professional activity.
